Hi everyone! I sent a join request to the ZERO-GPU-EXPLORERS Org around 5 days ago. I haven't been approved yet. Could someone tell me how long it usually takes?

ZeroGPU Explorers org

Me too, I'm curious that will everyone's application for this organization be approved? Or only those people with good ideas/demos/models can join?

I had to wait about 2 weeks for my request to be approved ; )

Usually this is not the case. Even if they need to look at your personal page on Huggingface, it still takes a while for the request to be approved.

But I also think that not every request will be approved. ZeroGPU provides for those who have potential but are economically deprived. So you can upload your model, I'm sure you will be approved ๐Ÿ‘€

Wow... So I guess 1 week and 1 day left!

I'm a learner and i need a GPU, but I can't proceed to the next step without it :(

I guess that's fair and I'm OK with that, but if that's the case they should just say it on the org card, or list what the standard is.
Also, although I find most of the zero gpu org members are very talented and have uploaded a lot of good works, I think I saw some members' spaces are empty, so I don't know.
But still, thanks a lot, guess I'll just keep waiting then. :hugs:

I applied after watching course on Deeplearning.ai and they said nothing about conditional approvals, will use orher resources and maybe come back here someday. I was mostly curious about performance gains, maybe I would even try to build something, though I'm still learning while working full time as a programmer

We add members to the org progressively over time, as we put more compute capacity online. Stay tuned! and build awesome stuff when you're in ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Hi, it's possible to know how many people there are now in queue for approval on ZERO? I applied last week =)

+1
I applied last week too. I would like to know the number of people in the queue.

You guys are getting approved? I requested to join months ago, lost hope after 2 weeks lol

Nah, not yet.

Hi! It took about 2 weeks for us to get approved. It's important to note that if you haven't been approved even after two weeks, you should check the organization (https://huggingface.co/zero-gpu-explorers) and see if the "Request to join this org" image.png button is available. If it's clickable, it means you haven't been accepted. If it shows that your request has been sent and the button isn't available, it means they are still reviewing it. Unfortunately, HF doesn't notify users if they've been declined, so you need to check every day to see if you've been accepted or not, following the instructions above.

If you've been denied, it's likely because you haven't created any spaces/models. Users with 0 spaces/models are usually only accepted if they're part (employees) of some important organization, like Picsart or Stable Diffusion. Additionally, it's unlikely to be accepted if you've only duplicated spaces; I don't think that counts. You should create something original, edit something existing, or something similar.

At ZeRO's launch, it took less than 1 day - now it takes over 2 weeks, so all that's left is to manage the anxiety, hahaha.

Finally, just got accepted :)

I was thinking that it would stay on "Request to join this org" if the request was being reviewed or has been declined xd, thanks for the info

I don't think so, I have another huggingface account which is not in the ZeroGPU explorer community and when duplicating a space with ZeroGPU results in this.

This is not a ZERO GPU but instead a paid T4 hardware. @NotAiLOL is correct, only accounts approved to this organization can access ZERO GPUs. If you try to access ZERO GPUs on an account that is not in this org, it will give an error. @KingNish the notice "New! Try ..." doesn't mean you've selected ZERO GPUs, it just means ZERO GPUs are available.

I have sent in the request over two weeks ago and still haven't been approved yet, am trying to use this to host a demo for the work https://github.com/linzhiqiu/t2v_metrics. Could I get approved? Thanks!

Hello. It's probably 3 months or more since i requested to join the organization but didn't get any feedback. I made sure to have projects on my profile when i made my request and it's still pending.

Maybe you have to create something (model/space) or modify something.

@JustusI Please check if the button is clickable. If so, then it means you have been declined, otherwise, just wait (I guess).

ZeroGPU Explorers org

@NotAiLOL @JustusI Also if you'r duplicating the existing repo then might be declined.

may I ask what you mean by this

It is just copy and paste, you have to add your elements

Yeah, duplicating other's repo (models / spaces / datasets) is just copy and paste. You can add your elements such as creating a MoE or GGUF for models; and change the LLM using for the space.

I'm learner and I submitted a request months ago but have not received an invitation yet. I need to work on the OOTDiffusion model and train it with my own data. as a learner, I find it challenging to progress without access to a GPU, and purchasing one is not financially feasible for me.

Hey @DhruvinDI you won't able to train model on Zero-GPU it's only for inferences, your request will be in queue, hope you will get asap

Hi @DhruvinDI , as @ameerazam08 mentioned, you cannot use ZeroGPU for training, there is actually a upper limit to the time of hold a GPU. You can specify the max time for holding a GPU but the longer the time, the longer it takes to get one.

If you want to get a GPU for training, you can consider to use

  • Colab: 1 x T4 for free
  • Kaggle: 1 x P100 for free / 2 x T4 for free
  • Lightning AI Studio: max 15 lightning credit per month

  • SageMaker Studio Lab: 1 x T4 for free

Also if you want to access intel GPU, you can go here. It gave you access to Intelยฎ Data Center GPU Max 1100 immediately, and you can request to use Intelยฎ Data Center GPU Max 1550 and Intel Flex GPU. The catch is, the developer account only last for 120 days (you can request to extend the time) and it is very complicated to set up the environment for Intel GPU.

Thank you, I understand that I can't train models on Zero-GPU. but I have a question, can I use it for learning purposes?

As I already mentioned I'm a learner first after that I want to work on the OOTD Model.

Thank you for the suggestion brother,

I've already tried using colab, but after a while, it stops working and I can't restart it for many days. I'm not sure if colab has a monthly limit, but I've seen many people face this issue. It seems like colab has a 2-hour running limit, and after it stops, users can't restart the Colab GPU immediately.

Try Kaggle, 30hr/week w/ 2xT4
