Apply for community grant: ASOIAF Character Chatbot (Requesting GPU and storage)
Dear HuggingFace Team,
I am currently working on a small, but exciting side project as part of the open-source community. I’m developing a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) chatbot that embodies the character Bloodraven from "A Song of Ice and Fire" Universe! The chatbot aims to deliver an "authentic" experience, where users can engage with the character's immense wisdom from the ASOIAF universe.
I also plan to further enhance the chatbot by fine-tuning some open-source models (Llama/Gemma) to improve its performance and scalability. Given the computational requirements, I am requesting access to GPU resources and persistent storage through HuggingFace's Community program. These would be invaluable in helping me iterate to a better version.
GPU requested - T4 Medium GPU or higher.
Persistent Storage - Small (20 GB)
I'll be keeping the project open-source, and I believe it will contribute meaningfully to the community. I would very much appreciate your support in making this a success.
