Trying to run the yml file.
Hi. I am new to this and was trying to figure out how to use Axolotl. I saw that you used it and saw the yml file you had. So, i tried to copy and paste the yml file and run it. I am doing this in an amazon sagemaker studio cpu notebook. Every time I run anything it gives me errors. Could you give me the step by step process of how you trained this model with Axoltol?
What error is it giving? Axolotl is really powerful but it also has lots of dependencies and config files aren’t always compatible on different GPUs. Are you training on an A100?
Thank you for responding! I have figured out how to get it to work. I forget which error I was getting though. I have another question for you: where did you train the model? Like which cloud computing thing. Anyways, thank you so much for responding and I am sure i will be back later with another question haha.
Sure :) glad to help. I trained these on runpod.io using their spot instances which was extremely cheap… like $1/hr
