@victor @not-lain There has been a sudden and unusual outbreak of spam postings on the HF Forum that seem to be aimed at relaying online videos and commenting on them. It is also spanning multiple languages for some reason. I've flagged it too, but I'm not sure if the staff will be able to keep up with the manual measures in the future.

Yes I assumed the poor context in writing was just a language barrier but odd comments indeed

I think they are deliberately using languages other than English to create this misunderstanding. I happened to read the Japanese version, so I realized that it was clearly wrong.😅
Recently, there has been an increase in the number of English posts and SPAM that look like they were created by a generative AI. You can also see so-called “pappeting”, where SPAMs talk to each other.
